The law firm of Gaughen, Gaughen, Lane & Hernando, LLP has been providing services to their clients since 1945. Our attorneys have represented a myriad of lenders in various types of transactions, including complex cash flow and asset-based lending to heavily contested restructurings, bankruptcies and residential transactions. The firm represents both commercial and residential investors during the acquisition and refinance of their real estate investments.
The firm’s attorneys practice in areas that complement the client’s and their family’s needs such as Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Probate Law and Litigation. The confluence of the various practice areas allows the firm to understand and assist clients and their families with the particular opportunities and challenges that they may face.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented experienced (5+ years) Legal Assistant/Paralegal/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support in a legal setting, managing the front desk and assisting clients.
Responsibilities:
- Draft purchase and sale agreements and estate planning documents, process foreclosure actions, and manage client correspondence
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate personnel
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic files
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Support attorneys with document preparation, including estate planning, real estate and estate administration
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Assist with legal case management tasks
- Manage office supplies inventory
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- More than 5 years prior experience required
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
- Ability to assist with real estate contract drafting and review
- Proficiency in proofreading legal documents for accuracy
- Ability draft legal documents

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
