JOB LOCATION: Cambridge, MA

POSITION: Head of Platform Delivery

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Takeda Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. is seeking a Head of Platform Delivery with the following duties: Lead and enhance technical operations across the Digital Workplace team, with a focus on Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage, Power Platform, and Box; Drive the evolution of the Business and Technical Operations Team and Platform, and leading Change Management Teams; Provide expert guidance and leadership, leverage knowledge of technical operations to identify and address operational needs, problems, and opportunities; Coach and lead project teams in the development and implementation of complex systems, align with strategic goals in a cost-effective manner; Influence decisions that impact organizational goals, financial performance, and the work of employing organizations; Demonstrate expertise and leadership in large/complex areas of work, encompass technical, financial, and quality aspects; Represent the organization and sharing new industry standards and trends with peers; Act as a subject matter expert, translate understanding of digital products to the organization's IT landscape and strategic plans; up to 30% remote work allowed.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field plus 8 years of prior experience. Prior experience must include: Lead and manage resources to provide operational support for the Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint, MS Teams, Stream, Viva Engage, OneDrive, Security and Compliance, Azure AD, and other related applications, ensuring seamless collaboration and productivity; Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, to create custom applications, automate workflows, and analyze data, driving productivity and efficiency across the organization; Apply familiarity with Box, a cloud content management and collaboration platform, to understand its features, security measures, and integration capabilities with other Microsoft tools, ensuring secure and efficient collaboration; Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address complex issues and make informed decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, analyzing situations, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities

Lead and enhance technical operations across the Digital Workplace team, drive the evolution of the Business and Technical Operations Team, provide expert guidance and leadership, coach and lead project teams, influence decisions impacting organizational goals, represent the organization in industry standards and trends.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field plus 8 years of prior experience, including operational support for Microsoft 365 suite and proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform.
