Job Description

Description: Reporting to the senior manager for culture and employee experience, the position serves as an integral member of the corporate communications “People and Culture” team. This is a critical role in cross-functional and cross-business area/international coordination, and this individual will relentlessly advocate for effective and streamlined employee communications operating procedures and standards that drive positive business results. This role will also bring consistency to processes and guidance across all teams, leaning into AI solutions with both internal and external content, and collaborate across Communications to find consensus on Enterprise-wide approaches.

Work Location: open to all major Lockheed Martin sites.

With a keen focus on advancing our culture to achieve our business results, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Integrated Employee Communications Strategy
  • Support an overall integrated employee communications and culture leadership plan in support of business and transformation objectives.
  • Coordinate across the Corporate Comms team to manage overarching Functional Executive Leadership key employee messaging documents.
  • Effectively integrate external and internal employee communications strategies with Business areas/international and Functional Comms partners
  • Communications Standard Operating Procedures and Guidance
  • Help drive efficiency as an Enterprise.
  • Own the processes documents specific to Enterprise Operations, HR and employee communications.
  • Serve as the representative on corporate communications team councils for channels and tools.
  • Manage the People and Culture team’s executive prep documents, scorecards, and other artifacts as directed.
  • Use Gartner or other methodology to evolve our data and insights model.
  • Ensure the team is appropriately monitoring and listening across all employee and channels and sharing as appropriate, recommending engagement strategies based on external conversations.
  • Creativity and Innovation
  • Explore and integrate best practices from industries and audiences in employee, culture and change communications.
  • Challenge the status quo and improve upon existing practices, heavily leveraging AI.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement integrated employee communications strategies, manage key messaging documents, drive efficiency in communication processes, monitor employee engagement, and leverage AI for innovation.

Qualifications

Experience in corporate communications, strong writing and editing skills, ability to work cross-functionally, familiarity with AI tools, and strategic thinking.

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
