Key Responsibilities:
Technical Solution Development
- IT Support: Play a central role in researching, implementing, and maintaining law enforcement software, systems, and peripherals.
- Mobile & Emergency Systems: Support mobile systems, including VPN, cellular access, and rugged laptops in police vehicles.
- 24/7 On-Call Support: Be the go-to expert for all emergency systems within the department.
Compliance
- Data Protection: Safeguard the security and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to state, federal, and departmental guidelines.
Police Records Management
- Record Accuracy & Compliance: Review police reports and records from both a legal and technical perspective.
- Expungement Management: Oversee the expungement process.
- Public Records Management: Ensure records practices meet public access guidelines.
Crime Analysis
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Use both quantitative and qualitative techniques to analyze crime data.
