Job Description

Our mission at Oura is to empower every person to own their inner potential. Our award-winning products help our global community gain a deeper knowledge of their readiness, activity, and sleep quality by using their Oura Ring and its connected app. We’ve helped millions of people understand and improve their health by providing daily insights and practical steps to inspire healthy lifestyles.

Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office.

As part of our Strategy & Operations team, you will be a key driver of Oura’s growth and evolution. You will support the development of future growth strategies, drive Oura’s strategic planning and tackle operational challenges facing the business. This role requires a highly strategic, analytical individual with a strong bias for action and the ability to navigate ambiguity to drive impact across the organization. We are looking for someone who loves to solve problems, is intellectually curious and ideally has a background in management consulting or strategy and operations in healthcare, consumer electronics, or CPG.

Responsibilities

Develop future growth strategies for the business e.g., analysing new market opportunities, competitive landscaping, business case modeling; Build strategic capabilities (e.g., data-driven processes, frameworks, analytical tools, etc.) to identify and prioritize new opportunities for the business; Build financial models and investment cases for new capabilities that support the growth strategy; Inform leadership perspectives on opportunities and threats e.g., market research, technology assessments, competitive analysis, customer segmentation; Craft and develop high-quality executive presentations and materials for the C-suite and leadership on-sites; Support leadership across the business with annual planning, facilitating cross-functional alignment and resource allocation; Work with the Director, Strategic & Operations to structure complex and potentially ambiguous ad hoc operational/business issues and develop insightful recommendations.

Qualifications

7-9+ years of professional experience at a management consulting firm, investment bank or related strategy team; Proven experience working with executive leadership in a Chief of Staff, strategy, or similar high-impact role; Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization; Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, financial modeling capabilities (e.g., Excel) and the ability to build simple but impactful presentations for executive audiences; The ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity with effective prioritization and out of the box, creative problem solving; Familiarity with direct-to-consumer businesses, healthcare and the digital health space.
